I actually went to a party this past weekend and had a good time. Seems like my whole summer has been filled wth events I wasn't well enough to attend.
Some friends came and picked me up in their old RV and six rode down to North Baltimore Ohio to see my old friends Ron and Linda. Ron had just had a birthday, and had just finished building this fabulous smoker, and he needed a party. So he smoked up four kinds of meat, put the word out they were having a party and the people came.
Thank you Ron and Linda for having a party on the last real day of summer. It was fun to hang out in Café Ron again and catch up with old friends. I'm so happy I was well enough to go. .
Unfortunately the weather rolled in and it was time to go. It was a bumpy trip back to Toledo in the RV, as the backs of my calves demonstrate. Thanks Donny for getting us back safe.
