Day 64

Went looking in my studio for something to build upon for today's sun and found this watercolor  value study.  I drew the sun on with watercolor pencil.  I feel like I should be writing more with my posts but I am so tired right now it's all I can do to get my sun done and posted. This too shall pass.

Day 10

I have been looking through Noah Scalin's 365 Make Something Every Day and Change Your Life!  I can't say that change your life part enough.  It is chuck full of information, inspiration and ideas I'm so glad I got the book.

Tonight I worked with water color pencils and my tray of hard water colors. I found this little cloud painting I started last year and it is works nicely as a background for number 10.

Day 4

Sun 4

Tonight I went to the last night of Lights Before Christmas at the Toledo Zoo.  It was very nice, I shot a bunch of video and photos.  Haven't looked at anything yet because I needed to work on my sun.  Not really to happy with it.  I added a little metallic marker at the end and it really shows up in the photo.  Oh well I'll create another one tomorrow...

Day 2

I am really excited about this project I have been telling everyone I see "I started a blog, I am going to make art for 365 days in a row".  I really need to change my life and this seems a good way to start.

Today I went into my studio looking for inspiration and I spotted this little watercolor painting which started as a value study then I had doodled the start of a sun.  Then I got out a pan of watercolors I have had for years and never used and created this.  It doesn't feel finished to me so maybe I'll work on it some more.
