Day 101

This is the first collage I did for my Toledo Project, it is also 16x20. Creating this poster was a real turning point for me with this body of work.  I have been working on this project for a few years now but really dragging my feet to get it out there.  As I sit here on the eve of Artomatic 419 and "getting out there" for the first time in a long time this seemed a good choice as my post.  Plus I am so tired from all the matting and framing that I can't get a new sun done tonight I need to sleep to prepare for my 11 hour day.  Wish me luck.  Hope to see you there!

Day 99

This is my Toledo Project collage 3,  it is also 16 x 20.  I like how this one turned out. I have been messing about with these Toledo images for a few years now.  It feels good to be putting them together and framing them.  It will come with a paper that gives the name and location of each building. Tomorrow is the Mud Hens home opener and the weather looks to be terrible.  Hopefully the baseball gods will smile upon Fifth Third Field. Go Hens!

Day 94

OK it's not a Sun per say but it is one of the pieces I created for Artomatic 419.  I have been working on my Toledo Project for the last couple of years.  In my life I have lived in many places but I am from Toledo and I am currently living here so I say I am looking for diamonds in my own back yard. I live very close to downtown and I walk and photograph.  The first thing I did with these images is put together a bunch of note cards and now I am putting these collage posters together.
