Day 277
I had a good window this afternoon where I felt OK but I still didn't get my sun done. So here I am minutes before midnight fighting the nausea to get this simple little sun done on my computer. Oh well they all can't be masterpieces. Especially when I feel like I am fighting to get through each day dealing with my health.

Day 211
Well it's finally here, tomorrow August 1, 2013 I am turning 50. It seems crazy but it is a fact. On my 47th birthday I lost my dear Aunt Kerry and the last two birthdays have been rather sad. And the thing is that would really piss her off. Birthdays have always been a big thing in my family and Aunt Kerry celebrated at hundreds if not thousands of family birthday parties with a smiling face whether she felt like celebrating or not. So tomorrow I will be as bright and shiny as possible and on Saturday I am having a big party.

Day 208
Well Art on the Mall was not a success. Don't want to lament it too bad but I guess I need to reevaluate whether the Art Fair world is for me or not. Trying not to feel bad about myself.

Day 190
Today was my Mom's birthday so I had to do a special Judy sun. Not just because she's my Mom but because she is one of my biggest blog followers. Thanks Mom for everything you do, you make every day a little sunnier!

Day 183
This photo seemed appropriate for today which is the halfway point in my 365 project. I love doing these impressionistic works. This was taken on Lake Michigan like most of the Impressionistic Sunsets I have posted.
Twenty years ago today I was the Maid of Honor in my cousin Kim's wedding when she married Keith Steinbock. It was a happy day and I was lucky to have been part of it. Happy Anniversary Kim and Keith!

Day 162
An Impressionistic Sunset.
I am looking forward to the Thursday Art Walk, in Downtown Toledo, hopefully the weather will be pleasurable. Come on out and support your local art scene if you are in the area.

Day 126
This one got a little strange but it will have to do. I made it while I watched innings 11-16 of the Mud Hens game on the TV. Unfortunately they lost but they never gave up, almost coming back in the 16th. Tomorrow is another game and tomorrow I will make another sun.

Day 110
I spent a good deal of my day recovering but also creating some new sun cards and a little work in the frame shop I have set up at my moms. For some reason I was feeling very pink tonight.
Had to share this precious photo of my little kitten Clara Belle. I walked into the kitchen and found her on playing in one of my Meijer bags. She makes me smile every day, unfortunately she makes my dog Casey sigh heavily every day.

I don't know about this sun, it sounded like a good idea. . . a childhood photo and my SketchBook Express. It's funky for sure.

| Impressionistic Sunset 2 |
Tonight I secured my spot for the Artomatic 419 which is a huge art event here in Toledo, 3 blocks from my house. I will be there April 13, 20, 27th selling some of my suns and my Toledo series. It is free to the public. There will be 400 visual artists plus live music. Mark your calenders it should be lots of fun. I'll write more about this as it gets closer.

Day 56
Played with my Sketchbook Express App on my computer tonight. It is fun to draw on the computer I need to play some more so I get better at it.

Day 41
Decided to do a repeat of yesterdays recipe, I started with an image from my Toledo Project. This is an architectural detail from the Safety Building built in 1929, she is one of three carved stone female faces representing the women of Toledo. Then I used my SketchBook pro App to turn her into a sun.

Day 40
Decided I wanted to do something I hadn't yet done on what feels momentous ... Day 40! This is a photograph from my Toledo Project series of a architectural detail on what was the YMCA. I then imported it into my ScetchBook Express app on my computer and turned it into a sun.
Since it is day 40 I spent some time going back over the suns I have made so far and marking all with the day they were done. I don't know if they will have any other title besides Day 34 etc. It was good to go back over them all and pat myself on the back for how well I am doing with my 365 project. Then I hung several on the walls in my studio.

Day 32
I went to a small party at a friends tonight and I created this sun on my Sketchbook Express app on my phone while we were sitting around talking. I had started to worry about getting todays sun done so it was great to be able to work on it on my phone, technology. Casey got to go along and she had a great time getting fussed over by everyone and we went for 3 walks out in the snow in John's huge yard.
