Day 357

Merry Christmas!

My first and hopefully last Christmas in  the hospital started with a staff member presenting me with this beautiful little quilt from "The Sixth floor nurses".  It fits nicely over my lap, I love it.

I had several visitors today and was brought lunch and dinner. Thanks to everyone who took a little time out of their Christmas to spend it with me. 

Still struggling with the stabbing pains. They are trying hard to keep it under control. Tomorrow another scan to see if  abscess is gone and how area is looking.

Day 338

I woke up in the night with my whole body aching and felt beat up all day. I had an 8:30 Dr appointment because I have a big bald spot on the back of my head. Turns our I have Alopecia from stress. She would normally treat with a steroid shot into my head but it is very painful. Since I am about to go through chemo we are skipping that and I got some cream. Cancer sucks!

Day 311

Very excited to see my friend Kellie tomorrow, whom I haven't seen since September when we went to MI to made concertina journals together.  Both of our lives have had life changing events, so it will be nice to have a good talk.  Then we are going to go fondle art supplies together, and, I'm sure buy some.
