Day 127

I struggled to get going tonight but still managed to get this done.  It feels a bit unfinished, maybe I'll work on it some more tomorrow or maybe I'll make another sun. 

Day 120

I started out working on another word collage but the words were not speaking to me tonight.  So I reached for the markers.  I love these metallic gelly roll markers, this piece looks very different from different angles. Unfortunately I spent 4 hours on it so I didn't get anything else done, oh well, tomorrow is another day and another sun.

Day 116

I made it thru Artomatic 419! It was a good show. Many thanks to all who came to see me and all the kind words.
My sun tonight is the cover of my recent Utrecht art supply catalog cut out and added to with gelly roll markers.

Day 114

I seem to be stuck on my jelly roll markers this week.  They are an easy go to as I get more work ready for this weekend.  I know I won't sell all the work I have matted and framed this weekend but it is an investment and I will be getting it out to other places.  Artomatic is just the first of many shows and places where my art work will be displayed.  I am no longer on the benches observing,  I am making art every day to change my life . . . and it is working.

Day 113

I spent the evening putting together sun cards and matting up 30 5 x 7 prints for the last Saturday of Artomatic 419.  I so wanted to take a photograph of the stack of matted and bagged prints for tonights sun but knew that wouldn't do, so I drew sun number 113.  I am still very tired so it feels like a big accomplishment and really want to pat myself on the back.  Sun 113 done. . . Day 112

My first attempt at an all dot sun, I used my metallic jelly roll markers.  The photo could be better, it is hard to photograph the metallics.  I am too tired to fix it tonight.  I am determined to get to bed before 1:00 am for a change.

Day 108

A long day today, very busy but I still got my sun done.  Well maybe not done it feels unfinished.  I will finish it tomorrow t the 2nd Saturday of Artomatic 419.  Thanks to all who came to see me and I am looking forward to seeing lots of art lovin faces tomorrow for 12 hours. . . yee haa!

Day 84

My first sun with Jelly Roll markers.  They are metallic so hard to photograph but I really like how this one turned out.  This is another addition to my 7 x 7 journal.
