Tonight mom and I went off to our calligraphy meeting in MI. Ten miles over the border and we got caught in three lanes of barely moving traffic on 75. Soon after that mom's car started to shutter and soon it stopped. It was very scary, cars started going around us on the breakdown lane. The police would not come because there were two accidents up ahead of us. We could not get AAA on the phone it said "all circuits are busy". Needless to say we were getting very upset. We could not push the car off the road because it would not go into neutral. Mom called the police again and was able to get the phone number of a towing company. In the mean time I had alerted my brother of the situation
and he was on his way. A State Trooper
finally pulled up behind us which made us feel much safer. Michael arrived just as the tow truck did and he gave us a ride home. All in all, it was quite the ordeal. Glad to be home safe.
