Day 452

This past weekend I was part of a Summer Solstice Garden Tea and Art Show. It was a fundraiser for the Historic Vistula Foundation. The weather couldn't have been better, after lots of worrying about rain. Unfortunately I did not feel well, though I was able to be there for most of the two day event.

It was in my mom and Richard's garden, which is looking fabulous. They have been working at it for 25 years. This is my mom's herb garden, which was started in the early 1990's.

Almost a Secret Garden feel-- I loved that book as a child.

I have not been posting during radiation, the meat of the treatment, because I am really struggling. But the good news is only 4 more. I'm done on July 1st. Then a few weeks off before chemotherapy starts again for 3 months, once a week. Remember my treatment plan is "The Sandwich", 3 months IV chemotherapy, then 28 days of radiation with chemotherapy pills, followed up by 3 more months of IV chemo. I am still really struggling with the nausea and vomiting and have needed to be hydrated several times. I will have a few weeks off between and really hope I feel better during that time and can post more often.
