Today was my spa day. The Cherished Friends of Ahava offer a complete spa day to cancer patients currently going through treatment. It was the whole deal, they gave me this robe I'm wearing and some fun flip flops. I soaked in a hot tub, had a massage, a facial, a pedicure, manicure, my eye brows waxed, make-up applied with an airbrush and a hair cut and style. They also fed me a lovely salad for lunch.
Kind of a goofy look on my face but it truly was a very nice day, very relaxing. I also feel like my skin will look good for a little while. Many thanks to all the ladies who worked on me, you were all gentle and kind and made me feel special.
Tonight I went to the Hens game with Kellie and her two B's, unfortunately it started to pour.
I'm watching the end of the game on the TV at home, couldn't hang out. It's been a pretty big day for me and I'm tired.
