Day 433

I found this sun at the Smithsonian American Art Building. We didn't have much time on our last day so we decided to go here for our last day, especially since it was pouring outside.

Bye Bye Washington DC. There's the Tidal Basin AKA Cherry Blossom Central where over a million people visited over the weekend, we were two of them.

Hello Detroit? Is this April 15th? We arrived home to cold and snow, yuk. Much prettier from the sky than in your face.

It was a wonderful trip. So great to see our Capitol city! Wonderful to spend time with my cousin Kim, just the two of us! And fabulous to have a few days where I felt normal and not focused or worried about my cancer. Thank you Kim-la! It was soooo special and I don't know if I could ever express how grateful I am to you for taking me on this trip! But I'll try.
