Had a very long day at chemo yesterday and fell asleep before I did my blog. So here I am at 3:33 a.m. writing. Wasn't done till after 5:30, after getting there a little late, 10:10, mom needed to put air in her tire. I sat in the car feeling guilty that she was out in the cold dealing with her tire, which is something I would do for her normally. This world of cancer is so strange some days. It does not escape me how lucky I am, not only to have my mom here still, but to have her healthy enough to help me so much on this cancer journey. Thank you mom!
On chemo days I always take a bag of stuff to entertain myself, since I'm there 6-8 hours. I've been working on the great thank you card project and had some of my note cards with me. My nurse asked if they were for sale and could she look. Of course, I said, and I made $20. It's been awhile since I earned any money, and felt great. My nurse then showed off her cards and two other nurses want me to bring more back next time. Well that's no problem I have plenty made.
It's all inspirational to move forward getting all this work I've made ready for sale. Good news tonight, my neighbor and friend is getting a mug printing machine this week. Which means I'll be able to make mugs again, sun mugs. If there was any sun you've liked on my blog and thought I'd like that on a mug I'll be able to made it for you. This is very exciting since I do not have the money to get this equipment right now but really want to offer mugs, especially on my much awaited online shop.
