Here's my last sun I will make during this hospital stay. I'm leaving tonight in about an hour. I'm getting my last IV antibiotics now and I'll go home when it finishes. Tomorrow the home nurse will start visiting me. I couldn't believe it when they told me. It will be difficult but great to be out of here. I need to be on IV antibiotics for 3-4 weeks. I will learn from the visiting nurse how to give them to myself and how to take care of the drain I have.
I haven't talked about my suns on the styrofoam cups. Mom brought me my sharpie markers but no paper so I had to find something to draw on. Turns out I liked them and I enjoyed them brightening up my room.
