Day 310

On Tuesday, my first full day home from hospital, the door bell rang.  I was here  by myself, so I decided to try and make it down the 18 steps to see who was there. Nelson had already been barking awhile. When I got there the woman was already heading back out the front gate with a beautiful vase of flowers for me. Luckily I got her attention with my very small voice.  It was another arrangement from my good friends Lynn, Joe, Cathy, and Cate. They have now showered me with flowers, warm wishes and phone calls through all these weeks of hospitals, and I want them to know how much I appreciate the effort and the love, so I am naming them whether they like it or not. Here is a shot of the whole bouquet.

I went to my place for first time today and saw the Kitties. Julius actually seemed to miss me and wanted lots of attention.  Clara Belle rolled around on her round rug to greet me as she loves to do, but made me work pretty hard to be able to give her a pat. Stuart is doing a very good job taking care of them. I am most grateful that he is able to do so, thank you Stuart! He came home while I was still there, and I could see she is quite taken with him. It will take me a while to work my way back into her heart. Cats are so different from dogs. With Casey, I was home and all was forgiven.  She took her post back at my side and was there to protect.
