The sun above was sent from New Delhi by Leigh's longtime friend Ann Shoemake Jamal, today's Guest Sunmaker. Leigh had her NG tube and also the catheter removed this morning and is on clear liquids. Broth, juice and Jello are a lot more appealing now after nothing to eat since Tuesday! She didn't rest much last night and needs a good deep sleep to help her heal, but the noise and beeping plus the pain are preventing that. Hope tonight will be better. We didn't know how many Guest Sunmakers would be needed, but clearly we'll need more volunteers. If you'd like to do one, let Leigh know and txt your sun here or email it to her gmail account.
