Today my friend Peggy delivered a sweet little arrangement in a tea cup, and it seemed the obvious choice for today's sun.

It is from a group called EGYPT which I have been part of for many years. Our numbers are dwindling as time marches on, but we still get together every other month. Many thanks to all for the flowers and gift.

No appointments today-- just resting and paperwork I need to get done before I go back into hospital on Wednesday. I have been kind of talking around what is going on with me on my blog. Many readers who are good friends know, and I wasn't sure how much I wanted to post for all to see. When I started this blog back in January, I wanted to make art everyday, as I say in the header, "to change my life". I have, but now life is interrupting in the most serious way. I have a Tumor in the bile duct from my liver, and will have surgery to attempt to remove it. It is a very difficult surgery that not many surgeons would even attempt. I am lucky to have Dr Simo here in town, who has the skills, and she just moved here a few months ago. I will be in ICU 3 days so am not sure what will happen with the suns, but don't give up on me!
