Day 72

Spiegel Rearranged
Went to see Jaume Plensa lecture at the Toledo Museum of Art in the Peristyle tonight.  He is the sculptor who made Spiegel (mirror in German)the new addition to the museums sculpture garden.  "It comprises two identical crouching giants, each just over 12 feet high, hugging their knees and "facing" one another, though they are technically faceless.  They are nearly bodiless as well, shaped by latticework of white-painted steel letters from various international alphabets with interiors that light up at night." from ARTMATTERS.  It was a very nice lecture he had great images of the amazing sculptures he has installed all over the world.  So for tonight's sun I stole my idea from my friend  Kellie who used the images of Spiegel in the latest edition of ARTMATTERS to make a bracelet.  I used my one inch punch and created Spiegel Rearranged.
